Using the website

These terms govern use of mkiatech.com and its customer accounts. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling. You must have legal authority to enter an agreement; a parent or guardian should arrange services for a minor. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials private, and contact mkiatechct@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Requests, quotes, and appointments

Submitting a request creates an inquiry, not a confirmed appointment, guaranteed price, or obligation for MKIA to accept work. PC drop-off is by confirmed appointment only. Scope, pricing, parts, delivery estimates, payment schedules, deposits, cancellation arrangements, and any ongoing support must be set out in a separate written quote or service agreement before applicable work is approved. The return/refund and limited-warranty provisions below also apply unless a separate written agreement provides additional rights. Changes may require a revised quote. These website terms do not replace an agreed service contract or mandatory consumer rights.

Returns and refunds

Except where a refund, return, or other remedy is required by applicable law or an express written agreement, returns and refunds are discretionary, reviewed according to the circumstances, and are not guaranteed. MKIA LLC may approve or deny a discretionary request. To submit a request, email mkiatechct@gmail.com with the subject Refund Submission. Include your name, order or service reference, and the reason for your request. Contact MKIA before returning a product so arrangements can be confirmed. This policy does not limit remedies for defective goods, covered warranty claims, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limited 30-day labor warranty

MKIA LLC provides a limited labor-only warranty for physical products it sells or services, for 30 calendar days from delivery of the product or return of the serviced product to the customer. Covered labor includes correcting defects in MKIA’s work and labor to remove and replace defective hardware. MKIA will review the circumstances and inspect or diagnose the reported problem to determine whether it falls within this coverage. Approved covered labor is provided without an additional labor charge. MKIA may deny requests outside this stated coverage, subject to rights and remedies required by law.

This MKIA warranty covers labor costs only; it does not itself pay for replacement parts or extend a manufacturer’s parts warranty. Manufacturer warranty terms govern a manufacturer’s repair or replacement of defective hardware, including its eligibility and claim process. Manufacturer coverage takes priority for the hardware/parts claim, but does not remove MKIA’s labor obligations under this warranty or any non-excludable legal obligations. Any proposed parts purchase or other charge outside covered labor must be explained and approved before that additional work is performed.

To request warranty service, contact mkiatechct@gmail.com within the 30-day period with your name, order/service reference, delivery or return date, and a description of the issue. MKIA will arrange review and any necessary appointment; do not ship or drop off a product without arrangements. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state. It does not disclaim implied warranties or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

PC services and your data

You must own the device or have permission to authorize work. Before handing over a device, back up important data and tell MKIA about known faults, encryption, or access requirements. Do not send device passwords through the public form; any necessary access should be arranged separately. Hardware faults, troubleshooting, upgrades, and operating-system work can involve data risks. Backup or recovery services are included only if expressly agreed. MKIA does not promise that every fault is repairable or every file recoverable. This paragraph does not excuse negligent work or override obligations imposed by law.

Web projects and third-party services

You are responsible for having permission to supply text, images, software, and other materials for a project. Ownership, licenses, credentials, hosting responsibilities, milestones, maintenance, and handover arrangements should be specified in the written project agreement. Domain registrars, hosting companies, platforms, software vendors, and parts manufacturers have their own terms and availability. MKIA does not guarantee search rankings, business revenue, uninterrupted third-party services, or results outside its control.

Acceptable use and website content

Do not misuse accounts, impersonate others, submit unlawful material, send spam, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the website. MKIA may restrict access reasonably necessary to address abuse or security issues. Website text, designs, logos, and photographs belong to MKIA or their respective owners; viewing the site does not give you a right to copy them commercially without permission. Third-party names and trademarks remain their owners' property.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep website information accurate, but it may contain errors or become outdated. The website is provided as available, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent allowed by applicable law, MKIA is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of the website. This is not a waiver of statutory warranties, remedies, or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or intentional misconduct. Service-specific responsibilities belong in the written agreement for that work.

Closing an account

You may delete your website login in My Account. Deletion does not cancel approved work, outstanding payments, or other existing obligations. Business/service records and suppression information may remain as described in the Privacy Policy. Contact us separately about an active job or a broader data-deletion request.

Questions, disputes, and changes

Please contact MKIA at mkiatechct@gmail.com about a problem so we can try to resolve it. Connecticut law governs these terms to the extent permitted, without taking away mandatory protections available under other applicable laws. These terms do not impose arbitration or waive access to a court or regulator. We may update them prospectively by publishing a revised effective date; changes do not retroactively alter an approved service agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where legally permitted.
